A commemoration of the anniversary of the Battle of the Somme

On Saturday 2nd July we commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. The service was attended by the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester and the Lord Mayor of Manchester. The preacher was the Rev'd Rachel Mann, Minor Canon and Poet-in-Residence at Manchester Cathedral. Here are some photos of the event.
