Exploring our Rights through the Gospel

Picture

We have developed a creative exploration of human rights through biblical stories. We can arrange this session for schools either in church or at your school and have complete sets of all the equipment ready to bring.

There are five small areas using Gospel stories to show rights that children have:

A right to health - the Good Samaritan
A right to protection – stoning of the woman
A right to shelter – the Birth of Jesus
Right to privacy….. a right to time by yourself  -  Jesus went off to pray
A right to freedom of thought and religion - the Easter Story

There is a final area, demonstrating the right of education through the story of the Pentecost.

A leaflet is available with full information. Sessions should involve a maximum of 60 children.

More information from the Rev'd Melanie Appleby - contact details here.
